Nestled amid 100 year old oak trees the Colonial Chapel was once the stately Hamer residence. In 1958 Eldridge and Mary Carter purchased the home for use as their newly purchased funeral home and their residence. The chapel addition was completed in 1965 and a large parlor was added in 1985. In 1999 the entire facility underwent an extensive remodeling project. We can easily accommodate 3 visitations simultaneously with ample room inside the facility as well as ample parking. Our chapel seats 150 and we can accommodate larger crowds using the parlors for additional seating.
