Bruce Albert Bittle

Bruce Albert Bittle, 55, of Rockingham, died Saturday, November 19, 2011 in Moore County, North Carolina. Mr. Bittle was born November 29, 1955 in Richmond County, a son of the late Thomas Edward and Mary Callahan Bittle. He had served in the US Air Force and had been employed with the maintenance department of Richmond County Schools. Surviving are a son, Bruce A. Bittle, Jr. of Greenville, NC; a daughter, Felicia B. Culbreth of Ellerbe; brothers, Edward Bittle of West End, Tim Bittle and Donnie Bittle, both of Rockingham; and sisters Sandra Bankston of California, Hilda Carroll of Ellerbe, Denise Gregory and Lisa Bittle, both of Rockingham. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at Ellerbe Cemetery with Rev. Tim Hawks officiating. The family will see friends from 9:30 – 10:30 am Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe.
