Yvonne Patricia McMenamin Cortright

Yvonne Patricia McMenamin Cortright, 79, formerly of Pinebluff, completed her earthly journey on Friday, February 12, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Raleigh.

Mrs. Cortright was born December 10, 1941 in Dumbarton, Scotland, a daughter of the late John and Mary Sweeney McMenamin. She worked as a secretary with the Ideal Toy Company and retired as a concierge with the Pinehurst Resort. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Hamlet. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Cortright.

Surviving are her children, Yvette Baumgart (Robert Penny), Patrick Baumgart and Hanns Baumgart (Kristin); grandchildren, Skye and William Penny and sisters, Catherine Walters and Mary Conolly.

She will be placed next to her husband in the columbarium of All Saints Episcopal Church in Hamlet. A memorial service will be held privately.
