William G Hamilton

William G. Hamilton, 67, of Rockingham, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 6, 2020. William was born on August 21, 1952 in Richmond County the son of Benny Robert and Latha Rainwater Hamilton. He was a retired mechanic.

Surviving are his wife, Marie Granger Hamilton; a son, Benjamin Lee Hamilton of Indiana; step-daughter, Rebecca Lynn Canipe; step-son Victor Timothy Canipe; a sister Della Hamilton Hewitt of Rockingham; a brother Jerry Lee Hamilton; and grandchildren Zachary Dean Russell and Jenna Nicole Russell of Rockingham, Dylan, Cody, Kaleb and Kaitlyn of Indiana.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday February 10, 2020  12:00 Noon at Abundant Life Church with Reverend Joe Wilkes Jr. officiating.

The family will greet friends and relatives from 11:00 – 12:00 prior to the service.
