Wanda Carol Coble

Wanda Carol Coble, 70, of Rockingham, passed away on April 1, 2023 at Richmond County Hospice Haven. Wanda was born on August 26, 1952 in Richmond County a daughter of the late Harvey Alexander and Katie Lee Wright Rorie. Wanda was a nurse in the Nursery Department of Richmond Memorial Hospital for 25 years. She was a charter member and elder of Abundant Life Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband D. A. Coble, Jr.; her son, Daniel Coble and her brother Roger Rorie.

Surviving are her son, David Coble(Victoria); grandchildren, Jacob, Josiah, Marie, Matthew, Daniel; siblings, Wayne Rorie, Ronald Rorie, Elmer Lee Rorie(Sharon), Janet Crook(Bob) and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Friday April 7, 2023 at Abundant Life Church with Pastor Joe Wilkes, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Thursday at Abundant Life Church.

Memorials may be made in Wanda’s name to Richmond County Hospice.
