Virginia Deberry Davis

Virginia Deberry Davis, 70, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Davis was born January 26, 1952 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Donnie Deberry, Jr and Greta Davis Deberry. She was a member of Shining Light Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Elgie Kale Davis and siblings Jerry Deberry, Catherine Fountain, and Zachary Deberry.

Surviving are her husband, Ralph Darrell Davis; children, Benji Davis and Charity Davis; grandchildren, Trinity, Chase, Dash, Taylor, Kaylee, Kaden and Devin; great grandchildren, Christian, Casen, Axel, Annabelle and Dawson; siblings, Donnie Deberry, III, William “Bill” Deberry, Terry Deberry, Stevie Deberry, Cherry Ann Raines and Elaine Goins.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 pm Monday at Shining Light Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Tug Gainey officiating.  The family will greet friends following the service.
