Virginia Ann Moore McKay

Virginia Ann Moore McKay, 88, of Marston, completed her earthly journey on Friday, August 28, 2020.

Mrs. McKay was born August 24, 1932 in Rockingham County, NC, one of ten children of William Bryant and Carrie Belle Carter Moore. She was a homemaker and had been a member of Marston Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings and her son-in-law, Dannie Greene.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 58 years, Hilery H. McKay, Jr; children, Karen M. Greene, William H. McKay (Dawn), and Lynn M. Peele (Gene); grandchildren, ,Laura Greene, Marcus Greene, Daniel Greene, Matthew Peele and Jonathan Peele; brother, Donald Moore and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at Marks Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Ritter officiating. Social distancing and face coverings are required.
