Teresa Raymond Singletary

Teresa Raymond Singletary, 71, of Cordova, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday September 5, 2026 with her daughter by her side.

She was born on December 19, 1954 in High Point to the late Irene Adcock Smith.

She graduated from Richmond Community College with an Associate Degree in Arts. She owned and operated Broad Street Tapes and Tees for many years. Teresa had a wonderful sense of humor, she was tenacious and kind. She especially enjoyed trying new things.

Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Richard “Ricky” Singletary and 10 brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Brandy Singletary of the home, brothers Ronnie Smith and Gerald Smith, sister Phyllis Smith Ward, and close friend, Bonnie Rainwater.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Richmond County Hospice.

Services will be held privately.
