Shirley Snuggs Jernigan, 81 of Rockingham passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Richmond County Hospice Haven surrounded by family.
Shirley was born in Richmond County to the late Colon and Ruth Stankwytch Snuggs on September 10, 1943. She worked for many years as an inspector for Georgia pacific and enjoyed listening to beach music.
She is survived by her loving husband Richard Jernigan of the home. Along with children Tommy Allen, Kristal (Jamie) Gomiller, Robert Jernigan, April Jernigan, Jamie Lynn Quick. Grandchildren Tad Deaver (Christin) and Jadynn Gomiller, and great-grandchildren Declan, Zane, Kaileigh, Allyssa and Chloe.
Services will be held at a later date.
