Shirley Hudson

Shirley Jean Hudson, 81, formerly of Rockingham, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born September 20, 1942 to the late Garland and Alma Huggins Hudson. Before sickness struck her body, she was a very active and outgoing person. She finds herself being reunited in Heaven with her parents as well as her children Robin McDonald and Jackie Brigman.

She leaves behind grandchildren Travis Kelly and Whitney Ducasse, nieces and nephews Tracy West, Faith Humphrey (Lee), Crystal Dawkins, Stacey McCormick and Sean McCormick (Meilani), numerous great nieces and nephews along with sisters Joyce West and Mary McCormick (Buck) and special canine companion Maggie.

Graveside service will be held; 11am, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Richmond County Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Carpenter officiating.

Family will receive friends following the service.
