Shannon Brian Brigman

Shannon Brian Brigman, 52, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023 at his home. 

Shannon was born April 3, 1971 in Richmond County, a son of Samuel O Brigman and the late Muriel Anne Cribbs Brigman. He was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School, obtained his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Richmond Community College and was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockingham. He had worked with the Rockingham Police Department and as a Code Enforcement Officer with Richmond County. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Caroline Brigman and brother John Mark Brigman. 

Surviving are his father, Sam Brigman; nieces, Johnna Brigman and Jorja Brigman as well as aunts and uncles, Patsy Curry (Bob), Cathy McDuffie (Chris) and Linda Terry (Luther) and close friend Cary Garner. 

Graveside services were held privately at Bear Branch Cemetery.
