Sara Honeycutt McCormick

Sara Elizabeth Honeycutt McCormick, 78, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. McCormick was born July 23, 1939 in Scotland County, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Mary Guinn Honeycutt. She had retired from Russell Harvell Manufacturing in Mt. Gilead.

Surviving are her children, Kenneth McCormick, Brad McCormick and Sandra McCormick, all of Ellerbe, Bobby McCormick of Rockingham; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, David Honeycutt of Ellerbe, Matthew Honeycutt of Hamlet and sister Mildred Moss of Rockingham.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe with Rev. Ricky Jacobs and Rev. Bill Kearse, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery.

The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home.
