Ruby Malloy Edwards

Ruby Mae Malloy Edwards, 72, of Hamlet passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital – Richmond Campus.  Mrs. Edwards was born June 1, 1945 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Eddie and Mary Graham Malloy. She had retired from Sara Lee Hosiery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester C. Edwards, children, Charlene Nicole Chabot and Christopher Edwards, brother, Everett “Sonny” Malloy and sisters, Emma Lee Butler and Bonnie Mae Malloy. Surviving are her grandchildren, Joshua Tilton Chabot, Ashelynn Nicole Chabot; great grandchildren, Aiden Tilton Chabot, Mya Nicole Chabot, Zayden Alexander Cox and brothers, L.T. Malloy and Edvert Malloy. Services will be held privately.
