Ruben Golden

Ruben Golden, 92 of Ellerbe, passed away on January 5, 2021 at UNC Hospitals. Ruben was born on November 2, 1928 in Wythe Virginia a son of Ed and Frances Buchanan Golden. He was a coal miner and was a sawmill worker. He was Preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Harvey, Guy, Herston, Admar, Earnest, Basil, Roosevelt, Robert and Lorene Simmons.

He is survived by his sister Pearl Golden of the home and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Ellerbe Cemetery.
