Roger Dale Simmons

Roger Dale Simmons, 71 of Rockingham passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020. He was born on May 22, 1948 in Columbus County a son of the late Roy Barden Simmons and Genevieve Ward Simmons. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Griggs Simmons.

Surviving are his son, Roy Dale Simmons(Jennifer); step-sons, David Beggs(Genia), John Kevin Watts(Kim); grandchildren, Nick Beggs, Nicole Beggs, Kristlyn Simmons,  Breanna Katelyn Simmons, Roy Dale Simmons,II, Ryan Watts, Kevin Watts; sisters, Virginia Todd, Shelby Peele, Norma Gomiller, and Linda Stanley.

The family has chosen to have private services due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
