Dateline: Ellerbe, NC Robert James Austin, Jr., 71, of Ellerbe passed away at his home on January 19, 2021. Robert was born on November 19, 1949 in Moore County a son of the late, Robert James Austin and Virginia McQueen Austin. He is survived by his sisters, Thelma Austin Gibson of Ellerbe, Betty Austin Gardner and husband Everette of Albemarle and nieces and nephews. A family service will be held at a later date.
