Richard "Joe" Joseph Bailey

Richard Joseph “Joe” Bailey, 42, of Rockingham, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.

Joe was born March 13, 1981 in Scotland County. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and had worked with Fire & Data Systems for 20 years. 

Joe is survived by his daughter, Briana Kaye Bailey; parents, Mike and Diana Green Perdue; grandmother, Ann Evans and great grandmother, Martha Sue Perdue. 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday, July 7, 2023 in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. G.W. McCullough, III officiating. Interment will follow in Northam Cemetery

The family will receive friends from 12:45 – 1:45 pm Friday at the funeral home and at other times at his parents’ home.
