Richard Earl Brown

Richard Earl Brown, 91 of Rockingham passed away on June 10, 2021. Richard was born on December 18, 1929 in Red River South Carolina a son of the late Judson G. Brown and Fannie Lou Settlemyer Brown. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and Coast Guard, an electrical engineer in textiles and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hamlet.

Surviving are his wife Helen Taylor Brown; daughters Kathy Hatfield, Debbie Wilson; grandchildren, Michael Louis Wilson, Jr., Patrick Hatfield and Courtney Hatfield.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Richmond County Memorial Park with Reverend Dan Blair Officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
