Reginald Garside Nuttall

Reginald Garside Nuttall, Jr., 94, of Rockingham passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Hospice Haven. He was born on December 12, 1922 in Moore County a son of the late, Reginald Garside and Minnie Harrison Shepherd Nuttall.  He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U S  Navy. He was retired from Springs Mills, was a Life Member of the DAV and a member of Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Mary Jackson Nuttall, sons, Reginald Kenneth Nuttall and Dale Riley Nuttall.  Surviving are his son, Allen Harrison Nuttall(Wanda) of Lexington, daughter Caprice Michelle Ard (Jerry) of Hamlet; a sister Betty Henry of Hamlet; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home, in Rockingham, with the Rev. Mike Price and Rev. Ken Baber officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday October 13, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
