Raymond Howard Boyle

Raymond Howard Boyle, 69, of Ellerbe, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Boyle was born June 20, 1949 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, a son of the late Richard J. and Frances Baron Boyle. He had served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and also in the US Army Reserves.  He had been employed by Dewitt Trucking and Walmart. He was also a former member of Mt. Creek Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alan Boyle.

Surviving are his wife, Janie King Boyle of Ellerbe; children, Dawn Boyle, Wendy Robinson (Donnie), Richard Boyle and Johnathan Boyle (Sherri), all of Ellerbe; grandchildren, Miranda Puckett, C.J. Boyle, Ashton Covington, Levi Boyle and Carson Boyle; great granddaughter, Aaliyah Angelo; brother, Danny Boyle (Lynn) of Syracuse, Indiana and sister, Beverly Brincefield of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe with Rev. Shane Yarborough officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery.

The family will see friends from 6 – 8 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at Wendy and Donnie Robinson’s.
