Peter Siebert

This obituary is placed as a courtesy to the Pait family in Hamlet

On Sunday, September 13, 2020, Peter Siebert, 66, of Recklinghausen, Germany, passed away peacefully at his home following a courageous fight with cancer.

Peter was born November 4, 1953, in Datteln, Germany, a son of the late Paul and Inge Siebert. He was a heavy equipment operator until his retirement and later became a house master until his health failed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Ingrid, brother Hans and sister Dorothea.

Surviving are his sons, Marc Siebert of Oer-Erkenschwick, Germany, Christian Siebert (Sabrina) of Datteln, Germany; his precious grandchildren, Joel and Haylie Siebert of Datteln, Germany; sisters, Ingrid Childers of Quitman, GA, Gerda Pait (Richard) of Hamlet, NC and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank three special friends, Aleksandra and Jacek Dembowy and Max Thoridt, for all their help, love and compassion shown to Peter for the last 20 months of his life. God bless you for your kindness.

Funeral services were conducted by Nottbeck Bestattung Funeral Home in Datteln, Germany.
