Peggy Gardner Lampley

Peggy Gardner Lampley, 83, of Rockingham, completed her earthly journey on Friday, May 26, 2023.  

Mrs. Lampley was born December 18, 1939 in Guilford County, NC, a daughter of the late Shubert and Gertrude Crutchfield Gardner. She was a member of Roberdel Baptist Church and had worked as a CNA at Richmond Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lendon L. Lampley  4 brothers and 2 sisters. 
 
She is survived by her children, Priscilla Lampley Kindley (Joe) and Lendon Wayne Lampley (Kathy); grandchildren, Leigh Ann White (Jason), Curt Kindley (Paige), Matthew Lampley, Robert Emerson (Renee), Gabriel Griesbach and Zachary Griesbach; and great grandchildren, Brooks Blackman, Kaylin White, Blaine White, and Margaux Emerson. 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday,  May 31, 2023 at Roberdel Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Dennis officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lake Methodist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 12:45 – 1:45 pm Wednesday at the church and at other times at the Kindley home.
