Paul Nathanial Keeter (Updated)

Update from family:

On Saturday October 17, 2020 we will be reuniting Paul and Sue Keeter. We plan to be at the Ravens Rock Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway around 12:00 PM. This is the first overlook after you get on the parkway heading north between Blowing Rock and Boone, NC. All family and friends are welcome to join us in this special time.
My brother is missed more that I have words to say.

Paul Nathanial Keeter, 62, passed away at his home in Cordova Sunday, September 27, 2020, following a period of declining health.

A native of Mecklenburg County, NC, he was born July 17, 1958, a son of the late Jettie Lee Carr Keeter of Buncombe County and the late Van Aubrey Keeter, Sr. of Union County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue J. Keeter, a brother, Van A. Keeter, Jr., and a nephew, Van Junior Holbrook.

In life, Paul worked as a finishing carpenter in the construction industry, a skill he had learned through his family. He was an excellent cabinet builder. His favorite non-working activities included fishing and going to the mountains.

He leaves behind one sister, Jennievee Keeter Holbrook (Ron) of Charlotte; two nieces, Suzy Marie Keeter (Mike) of Wingate and Donna Lynn Holbrook (Francis) of Chester, SC; three great nephews, Michael Van, Stephen Paul, and Dylan Scott; one great niece, Alisha; and a number of other friends and family members.

A private memorial service will be conducted for family and friends at a later date to be announced.

Carter Funeral Home is serving the Keeter family.  Condolences may be posted online at
