Paul Junior Bittle

Paul Junior Bittle, 82, of Rockingham, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. 

Mr. Bittle was born November 2, 1940 in Richmond County, a son of the late Edward Albert and Willie Victoria Simpson Bittle. He worked with Clark Equipment for many years and retired from the State of North Carolina. He loved his Dodge Charger, being a part of his car club and showing off his 1954 Dodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Geraldine and Rachel, and siblings, Thomas, Woodrow, and Dewey Bittle, Colene Young, Willie Mae Boling and Elsie Callahan.

Surviving are his son, Alan Bittle; grandson, Chris Bittle and special nieces and nephews, Patti and Chuck Conner and Kathy and Donnie Gillam. 

A service celebrating his life will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Faith Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Blake officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church and at other times at the home of Patti and Chuck Conner.
