Patricia Bowles Mabry

Patricia Bowles Mabry, a loving soul who graced our lives with her kindness and devotion, passed away on June 8, 2025, at Autumn Care Of Myrtle Grove in Wilmington, North Carolina having spent the day before in the presence of her loving family. Born on December 6, 1950, Patricia filled each day with warmth and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

Graduating from Ellerbe High School, Patricia built a fulfilling career at McRae Industries before enjoying her retirement. Throughout her journey, she embraced her roles not just as an employee but as a friend to all, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to nurturing relationships and making every interaction meaningful.

Patricia's life was a testament to her deep faith and love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her spiritual journey was not merely a part of her identity; it was the core of her existence. She lived her life with one singular goal: to spend eternity with Him. This profound belief guided her actions and interactions, allowing her to touch the lives of many with her sincerity and grace.

Patricia was a proud and devoted mother to her daughter Sonya Mongero (Trent) and her son Scott Mabry (Michele). Her greatest accomplishments were her children and the joyous family she cultivated. She found immense joy in being a grandmother to her beloved grandchildren—Taber Mongero, Maris Mongero, and Tyler Mabry—sharing laughter, love, and wisdom that will continue to resonate through generations. She also loved her brother Don Bowles.

She was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Reid and Catherine Mauldin Bowles, and her brother, Dave Bowles. Their memories remain a vivid indication of the loving family environment she cherished and cultivated throughout her life.

Funeral services will be held 3pm, Friday, June 13, 2025 at Cartledge Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at Hamer Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Gilead, NC.

Family will receive friend from 1:45pm ~ 2:45pm, Friday June 13, 2025 at Cartledge Creek Baptist Church.

In Patricia’s heartfelt spirit of love and kindness, those fortunate enough to have known her will carry forward her legacy of compassion and grace. Her profound impact on our lives will forever remain a guiding light, illuminating our paths until we meet again.
