Ola Marie Short Sale

Ola Marie Short Sale, 91, of Rockingham, completed her earthly journey on Sunday, October 24, 2021.

Mrs. Sale was born August 16, 1930 in Glass,Tennessee, a daughter of the late John Edward and Matilda Wright Short. She was a world traveling evangelist and a member of Outreach for Jesus. She had worked with Ledbetter Mills, Clark Equipment and following her retirement, the Richmond County Council on Aging. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 children, Alice Miller, Jimmy Elton Sale, and Paul Edward Sale and a grandson, Kevin Wayne “Buddy” Sale.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Trusia Parker (Jerry). Henry Justin Sale (Amy) and Gina Davis (Mike); 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, William Short and sister, Ella Fields.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Outreach for Jesus with Pastor Marvin Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.

The family will greet friends from 12:45 – 1:45 pm Wednesday at the church.
