Odessa Brigman Treece

Odessa Mae Brigman Treece, 90, of Ellerbe, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at FirstHealth Hospice House. She was born on May 5, 1930 in Richmond County a daughter of the late Alexander and Magalina Rainwater Brigman. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Everette Treece Sr., daughters Carol Sue Platt, Cathy Treece Butler; son, James Everette Treece, Jr. and son-in-law, Charles Edward Butler.

Surviving are her son, Michael Anthony Treece; grandchildren, Tina Treece Knight, Brandie Butler Price(Brooks), Holly Kinlaw, Ashley Welch, Jennifer Knight; great-grandchildren, Erin Voorhes, Maggie Mabe, Amanda Rose, Austin Price, Christopher Voorhees, Olivia Price, Hailee Wilkerson; great great-grandchildren, Kiya Rose, Noah Green, Maddie Rose; and a sister Naomi Peele.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Ellerbe Town Cemetery.

The family will be at the home on Saturday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
