Michael Thomas Hudson

Michael Thomas Hudson, 62, of Rockingham, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 20, 2022. He was born on January 19, 1960 in Richmond County the son of Jack Thomas Hudson and the late Novalean Frances Barrington. He was a Navy Veteran, an avid Hunter, fisher and boater. He was retired from Campbell Soup. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandmother Ola Barrington. He is survived by his wife Sandra Smith Hudson; daughter Jessica Lowery and husband John; his father Jack Thomas Hudson; grandchildren Jenna and John Lowery and special cousin A.V. Barrington. His funeral service will be held at 2;00 pm Monday, August 22,2022 in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe with Pastor Joe Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow in Bear Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday from 12:45 – 1:45 prior to the service.
