Melissa Gwyn Smith

 Melissa Gwyn Beck Smith, 58 of Rockingham, passed away on September 1, 2021 at her home.

She was born on January 23, 1963 in Richmond county a daughter of Charlotte Wilson Beck and the late Dennis Beck. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her sister Angela Bates.

She is survived by her mother, her children, James Benoist and Heather Benoist; grandchild Alexis Benoist; sisters Kimberly Cline and Tammy Kelsey; and her long-time companion Eric Flores.

A private service will be held at at later date.
