Mollie Chappell Snyder

Mollie Chappell Snyder, 84, of Ellerbe, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at her home.

Mollie was born March 28, 1934 in Richmond County, the daughter of the late Clyde Sebastian and Jennie Webb Chappell. She was a graduate of Ellerbe High School, Class of 1952 and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe where she was active in the WIC. She had worked as a bookkeeper with Ellerbe Poultry Company and Harris McRae and also enjoyed farming. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, S. Graham Snyder.

Surviving are numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2pm Wednesday at Ellerbe First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Stan Layton officiating. Interment will follow in Chappell Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 12:45 – 1:45 pm Wednesday in the Ellerbe First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
