Mary Ellizabeth Speece Britton

 Mary Elizabeth Speece Britton, 81, of Hamlet passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Hamlet House.

Mrs. Britton was born December 21, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pa, a daughter of the late Joseph George and Mary Elizabeth Hart Speece. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Sheridan Britton  and granddaughter Courtney Wescott.

Surviving are her daughters, Kathleen Wescott and Deborah Strang; grandchildren, Bobbie Lynn Bowker, Allan Hickman, Jr., Christopher Wescott and Emily Wescott and many great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held privately at a later date.
