Mark Wayne Grant

Mark Wayne Grant, 73 of Rockingham passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at his home.

Mark was born on August 9, 1946 in the Hamlet Hospital, the son of Harry and Hazel Grant.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Mark Eric Grant and a brother Ronald Grant. Mr. Grant was an Air Force Veteran and was retired from the NC Department of Corrections.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Arnette Grant of the home; three daughters Terri Teal of Gadsden, Kentucky, Laura Grant Snead and Hollie Grant both of Ellerbe; three sons, Roger Blevins, Jr. of Rockingham, Eddie Grant of Rockingham, and Richie Grant of Rockingham.

He is blessed with 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Due to the Covid-19 virus the family will have a private family service.
