Margaret "Sami" Adams Poore

Margaret “Sami” Adams Poore, 74, of Ellerbe departed this life on Monday, August 3, 2020.

Sami was born August 9, 1945 in Oxen Hill, Maryland, a daughter of the late Charles Fernie and Margaret “Billie” Campbell Adams. She was a member of Ellerbe First Presbyterian Church and had retired as Librarian at the Kemp Sugg Memorial Library in Ellerbe. She enjoyed genealogy, quilting and her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Poore, and daughters, Hannah Grace and Sarah Jane Poore.

Surviving are her daughter, Jennifer Poore Frye (Joe): grandchildren, Mikala Campbell Smith and Matthew Joseph Frye and sisters, Mary Anne “Kay” Altimus (Jim) and Belinda Jo VanCleaf.

All services will be held privately.
