Margaret Butler Bryant

Margaret Ann Butler Bryant, 69 of Rockingham, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Bryant was born August 14, 1948 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Fred and Thelma Steen Butler. She was a member of Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church and had worked in textiles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Tammy Steele and Earl Leviner, III brother, James Calvin Butler and sister, Thelma Fay Jett.

Surviving are her husband, Carson A. Bryant of the home and sister Geneva B. Paxton of Rockingham.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Mike Price officiating. Interment will follow in Steen Cemetery.

The family will see friends from 12:45 – 1:45 pm Friday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
