Lois Lamonds Loflin

Lois Lamonds Loflin, 88, a longtime resident of Norman, NC,  passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 24, 2023 at FirstHealth Hospice House in West End.

Mrs. Loflin was born May 31, 1935 in Montgomery County, NC, a daughter of the late Lacy Hadley and Vergie Stewart Lamonds. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother,sister and aunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dolan “RD” Loflin, and siblings, Neil Arthur Lamonds and Cornelia Blue.

Surviving are her sons, Ricky A. Loflin, Roger D. Loflin, Rodney W. Loflin (Candy); granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Loflin; sisters, Janet Loflin, Becky Burkhead (Jerry), Faye Baker, Pamela Morgan (Dallas), and Darlene Fox (John); brother-in-law, Roy Loflin (Isabelle) and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Chappell Cemetery in Ellerbe with Rev. Larry Wilson officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
