Linda Van Dyke Webb

Linda Jean Van Dyke Webb, 76, of Rockingham completed her earthly journey and entered the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

Mrs. Webb was born August 28, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of the late George Van Dyke and Sarah McManus. She was a member of Kings Gate Church where she was active in the Soup Kitchen Ministry. She retired from Burlington Industries and later expanded her wreath and arrangement making hobby into Linda’s Creative Designs. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Charles McManus, and her husband of 35 years, Herbert E. Webb.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Lisa Rivera (Eddie) and Terrie Currie (James); grandchildren, Elizabeth Wilmoth, Amanda Currie, Elyssa R. McKenzie (Andrew), and Trevor Rivera; great grandchildren, Jacob Wilkes, Carlie Wilkes, Tyra Wilmoth. Hailey Blue, Ella Roller, Leland McKenzie, Logan Grant and Cayde Grant; step daughter, Pamela Webb; step-grandchildren, Chasity Grant, Chris Grant (Miranda), Brittany Webb, Cierra Webb and Gabriel Nabors; brother, Charles P. McManus and sisters, Karen White and Cindy Graber.

The family will receive friends from 1:45 -2:45 pm Sunday. January 30, 2022 at Kings Gate Church. A service in celebration of and giving thanks for the life of Linda Webb will begin at 3:00 with Pastor Eddie McLean officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
