Leo Warburton Poole, 68, of Rockingham passed away on Tuesday July 21, 2026 at Richmond County Hospice Haven Surrounded by his loving family.

Leo was born on March 27, 1958 in Richmond County to the late Cicero Pleasant “Pleas” Poole and Farrell Elaine Hardin Poole. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. He loved racing, whether behind the wheel, spectating or helping. He also enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Jenna Renee Poole; children: Chris Poole (Randi) and Christina Poole (Josh); grandchildren: Tristan Poole, Ava Poole, Allie Poole and Carleigh Hammonds; and his siblings Alice Poole, Wayne Poole (Betty) and David Poole (Laura); stepdaughter LaShonda and step granddaughter Legacy.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday July 22, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Crestview Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Thursday July 23, 2026 at 11:00 am at Crestview Baptist Church with Luke Vuncannon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
