Lawrence Howell Blakley

Lawrence Howell Blakley, 83, of Sunset Beach, NC passed away Thursday July 31, 2024 at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick.

Mr. Blakley was born December 30, 1940 in Richmond County, a son of the late Mack and Glenn Caudle Blakley. He retired as a plant engineer at Fox Yarn, and was an active employee of Sandpiper Golf Course at the time of his passing. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his Brothers; Clegg Blakley and Bill Blakley, Sister Sue Harrington.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Glenda Hatcher Blakley; Daughter, Amy McCrimmon; Step Daughters, Donna Pevoto and Judy Chavis; 4 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren and Sister Ellen Lambert.

Graveside services will be held Sunday August 4, 2024 at Rourk Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 394 Gibson Nursery Rd. Ellerbe, NC at 3:00 PM with Pastor Mike Price officiating.
