Laura Ann Nance, 59 of Rockingham passed away at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital  in Pinehurst on January 4, 2023.

Laura Ann Brayboy Nance was born on April  10, 1963 in Scotland County a child of D. C. Brayboy and Ruth Scott. She was a daycare school teacher. She is survived by her husband John Nance Jr. (Mac); sons Bryan Wallace(Shanda), Charles Adam Hatcher; grandchildren, Kirsten Wallace, Bryan Wallace, Jr., and Kaydence Wallace and a brother, Billy Brayboy.

The family will receive friends and family on Monday from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at Maple Street Free Will Baptist Church, prior to the service at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Darwin Cook officiating.

Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery.
