Larry Gene DuBois

Larry Gene DuBois, 77, of Bennettsville, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at Atrium Health in Charlotte.

Larry was born February 22, 1942 in Waterloo, Iowa, a son of the late Gene A. and Sylvia Marie Bradfield DuBois. He was a graduate of West Waterloo High School, Class of 1960, was a member at Place of Grace Campus, and owner of DuBois Home Builders. He was a longtime member of the NRA, an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler.

Surviving are his children, Doug DuBois of Cedar Falls, IA, Dan DuBois (Judy) of Bennettsville, SC and Debra Richardson (Gary) of Bennettsville, SC; grandsons, James Mitchell of Phoenix, AZ and Jared Mitchell of Freeport, IL; brothers, Glenn DuBois of Bennettsville, SC, Marty DuBois of Bennettsville, SC and Steve DuBois (Debbie) of Avon Park, FL and sister Mickey Walbaum (Jerry) of Unionville, MO.

Funeral services will be at 10 am Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Place of Grace Campus with Rev. Gary Richardson officiating. Interment will follow privately on the family farm.

The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home of Debra and Gary Richardson.
