Kay Morgan Moss

Kay Lynn Morgan Moss, 74 of Rockingham passed away on January 18, 2022 at Hospice Haven of Richmond County. She was born on October 24, 1947 in Moore County a daughter of Fred Edward and Mallie Spence Morgan. Kay was retired after 30 years with the Richmond County Department of Social Services as an Income Maintenance Specialist. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where she was an organist, pianist, Sunday school teacher and church secretary..

Kay is survived by her husband Allan J. Moss of the home; her step-son Roger Allan Moss(Charlotte) and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Louise Covington, Robert Morgan, Marie Prevatte and Betty Sue Latimer.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. 

Funeral service will be at 2:30 pm with Rev. Bryan Blackwell, Rev. Delane Burris and Rev. Dan Main. Burial will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.
