Jerry Wayne Bittle

Jerry Wayne Bittle, 39, of Fayetteville, completed his earthly journey on Monday, October 31, 2022, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Jerry was born July 28, 1983 in Richmond County, the son of Lisa Bittle and James Seagraves.  He worked with the Cumberland County School System as a high school counselor. Through his counseling and being an avid youth basketball coach, he helped and mentored many children during his life. He was an avid UNC Tarheel and Dallas Cowboys fan and a collector of shoes.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his sons, Elijah Wayne Bittle and Abe Thomas Bittle; his wife, Stephanie Gruber Bittle; sister, Becca Seagraves and special nephew Gabriel Seagraves.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Sweet Haven Church with Rev. Kane McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 12:45 – 1:45 pm Saturday at the church and at other times at the home of Hilda and Jason Carroll in Ellerbe.
