Jennifer Dawn Rush Mabe

Jennifer Dawn Rush Mabe, 38, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

Jennifer was born February 22, 1980 in Richmond County, a daughter of Wanda Greene Rush Bruce and the late Doyle Van Rush. Jennifer was a homemaker, a school volunteer and a rec ball coach.

Surviving are her husband Scottie Brent Mabe of the home; children, Kelsey Lynn Mabe of Raleigh, Carrington Lenea Love Robson of Hamlet, Logan Brent Mabe of Rockingham and Trent Scottie “Butterbean” Mabe of the home; grandson, Mason Creek Rivers; mother and step-father, Wanda and Lawrence Bruce, III of Mt. Gilead; brother, Kenneth Doyle Rush (Angie) of West End; sister, Crystal Rush Smith (Patrick) of Hamlet; nieces, Alyssa Rush and Danica Smith; nephews, Dalton Smith, Andrew and Austin Hough; stepbrother, Jason Bruce and step-sister, Amy Locklear.

Funeral services will be at 1 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe with Rev. Ernie Walters and Corey Brewington officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. 

The family will see friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home.
