James Stevenson Tade

James Stevenson Tade, 70, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021.

Mr. Tade was born October 9, 1951 in Richmond County, a son of the late James Martin Tade and Pauline Robbins Tade Rees. He proudly served his country in the US Navy, worked with Glenraven Mills and retired from Richmond Yarns.

Surviving are his siblings, Robert Rees (Sandy), Dennis Rees (Lisa), Bruce Rees, Patti Webster (Shelton) and Ted Rees, 8 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, January 3, 2022 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Pastor Steve Gilmer officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.

The family will greet friends from 12:45 – 1:45 pm Monday at the funeral home.
