James David Liles, Jr

James David Liles, Jr., 52, of Asheville, formerly of Rockingham, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

He was born January 30, 1970 in Richmond County, a son of Judy Odom Burr and the late James David Stacy. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Dawn Burr.

Surviving are his mother, Judy Odom Burr (Benja) of Rockingham; step-mother, Sharon Stacy of Elizabethtown; son, John Thomas Liles of New Braunfels, TX; daughter, Reina Selena Liles of New Braunfels, TX and step-brother, Michael Richards of Elizabethtown.

A memorial service will be held privately at a later date.

The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Burr home, 109 Pinedale Dr., Rockingham, NC .
