James Thomas Bittle

  James Thomas Bittle, 64, of Rockingham passed away Monday, October 15, 2018. He was born on July 4, 1954 in Richmond County a son of the late Dewey Frederick and Janie Rae Callahan Bittle. He was a Army veteran, a mechanic and was an employee of Burlington industries for twelve years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Mickey and Joey Bittle.   Surviving are his children, Kenneth Allen Bittle(Carla), Dustin James Bittle, Diana Marie Bittle, Thomas Wayne Bittle, Justin Philip Bittle(Elizabeth); grandchildren, Garet Allen Bittle, Dylan Layne Bittle, Dustin James Bittle, Jr., Caleb Jordan Bittle, Sabrina Nichole Cummings, Michael O’Ryan Cummings, Carissa Lynn Cummings; siblings, Roger Bittle, Linda Horne, Steve Bittle, Debra Estridge, Larry Bittle, and several nieces and nephews.   A graveside service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellerbe, NC.
