Herman Samuel Searcy

Herman Samuel Searcy, 89, of Rockingham, completed his earthly journey on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Mr. Searcy was born November 20, 1933 in Rockingham County, NC, a son of the late John Paul and Lessie Jones Searcy. He proudly served his country in the US Navy and was a self-employed mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Bullard Searcy, son, John Searcy brother Roy A Searcy and an infant sister.

Surviving are his daughter, Lorraine S. Eubanks (Danny); grandchildren, Daniel Eubanks (Maleana), Zane Searcy and his mother Sandy S. Robinson; and great grandchildren, Jordan Griffith (Joseph), Braelyn Eubanks & Marlie Eubanks.

Private graveside services will be held in Eastside Cemetery.
