Harold Shepherd

Harold Kenneth Shepherd, 62, of Hamlet, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. 

Mr. Shepherd was born October 27, 1960 in Richland County, SC a son of Ada Ruth Sellers McArthur and the late Harold Lloyd Shepherd. He served his country in the US Navy and had worked in remodeling with Lowe’s. 

Surviving are his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” Beasley Shepherd; children, Christofer Shepherd, Savannah Willis, Michael Shepherd and Ashley Shepherd; grandchildren, Kinsley Shepherd, Teagan Shepherd, Anna Eccher, Chrissy Eccher, Ryan Willis, Kylee Willis, Kevin Shepherd, Jillian Shepherd and Brinley Tingle; mother Ada Ruth McArthur and sister Amy Cheesman.

A service to celebrate his life will be at 11 am Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Community Church with Rev. Chris Thornton officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
