Glenda Dawkins Rogers

Glenda Dawkins Rogers, 67, of Rockingham, departed this life all too soon on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at her home. 

Glenda was born October 17, 1956 in Richmond County, the daughter of the late William and Audrey Faye Webb Dawkins. She worked in customer service for many years at A&P Grocery in Hamlet, K-Mart, Quincy’s and Walmart. She had attended First Assembly in Rockingham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Jason Croke and brother, William Larry Dawkins.

Surviving are her husband, Steve Rogers; niece, Brandy Dawkins Phagan (Adam); nephew Brandon Dawkins;great nephew Landon Phagan and her canine babies, Charlie, Maggie and Lulu.

A service to celebrate Glenda’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday. May 4, 2024 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Joel Perry officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.
