Gayle Pearce DuBois

 Mrs. Gayle P. DuBois, of Bennettsville, came into this world May 23, 1953, has gained her wings, departing this mortal world July 26, 2022, with her closest loved ones at her side.  Gayle never met a stranger and made everyone she met feel like one of her own.  The life of the party lighting up every room with not only her vibrant personality, but also with the brightest colors.  Mrs. DuBois was a free spirit with a zest for life and could always be found dancing around to her favorite music somewhere beneath a sky full of the brightest stars, hoping to see a shooting star which was her favorite sign from her loved ones lost before her. Never missing an opportunity to watch a sunrise or to shower her loved ones with the most love, you could always find her sitting out on the porch with her loved ones not far from her side. Gayle was a beloved wife and mother and will truly be missed by many whose lives she touched. She will forever be known as the cutest little blue-haired lady, with a smile for everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Pearce, sister, Geraldine Pearce, and brother, William (Bill) Pearce

Surviving are her husband: Marty DuBois, of the home: daughters:  Shannon G. Davis (Tim), Bennettsville, SC and Candy Cornett (Jeff), FL; sons:  Scott DuBois (April), Bennettsville, SC, and Matt DuBois, FL; grandchildren:  Jeremy Davis, Charles Williams, Corbin DuBois all of Bennettsville, SC and a host more grandchildren and great grandchildren in Florida; sister,  Sadelle Pearce Sorge, NJ as well as many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Crooked Creek Cemetery on the family farm, 4116 Lightwood Road, Bennettsville, SC. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the farm.
